The UCSC sailing team is always looking for new members and welcomes anybody who is interested. The best way to start sailing is to email Connor Bescos (Team Captain) at cbescos@gmail.com and tell him you are interested. He will get you set up and ready to go.
We hold the practices at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor every Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 3:00 and Saturdays at 12:00 (when there is no Regatta that weekend)
It can get pretty cold out there in the Monterrey Bay so make sure to dress adequately. we usually have some gear to lend out to people, but be ready to get wet and have an extra set of dry clothes to change into after practice.
